This clarification text has been prepared by KOZMO KIMYA INDUSTRY AND FOREIGN TRADE CO. LTD., whose details are provided below, in its capacity as the data controller, in accordance with Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”) and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures to be Followed in Fulfillment of the Obligation to Inform.

KOZMO KIMYA processes CCTV footage obtained from specific areas within its premises for the purposes of ensuring physical space security, conducting occupational health and safety activities, managing performance evaluation processes, and providing information to authorized persons, institutions, and organizations.

The surveillance areas, the number of cameras, and the periods of monitoring are determined and applied strictly for these purposes. Surveillance is not conducted in areas where it could violate personal privacy or go beyond the intended security objectives.

The personal data in question are recorded and processed electronically through automatic means based on the legal grounds of “legitimate interests of the data controller” and “performance of a contract” as specified in Article 5 of the Law. These are processed for ensuring workplace security, controlling access to buildings and facilities, increasing efficiency, ensuring legal, commercial, and technical safety of individuals in business relationships, proving business relations, enforcing occupational health and safety standards, and determining working conditions. All necessary technical and administrative measures are taken to protect the data, and access is restricted to authorized personnel only.

For the purposes stated above, the data may be shared with real persons or private legal entities, authorized public institutions and organizations, and business partners from whom we receive contractual services. Personal data may also be disclosed to judicial authorities or relevant law enforcement officers in the event of legal disputes or when required by the applicable legislation.
